Simple Noh implosion test benchmark in 2D with \( N ^d \) particles.
This benchmark uses the same initial conditions setup for the physics as 2D Noh implosion test. However, here we benchmark how the code performs depending on minimal and maximal cell sizes (and hence also tree depths) for a range of \( N \) particles per dimension.
As with all ExaParty experiments, you have to ensure that you translate with
before you start working with the scripts. Furthermore, either install the peano4 python package locally:
or manually set the Python path (discouraged):
The provided scripts in this directory will set up the experiments for you. Use
to compile a range of executables for varying cell min/max sizes and particle numbers. Then use
to run them sequentially, or help yourself to the job scripts in the
subdirectory.
Finally, you can plot the outcomes using
use the --help flag to see available plotting options. By default, the script will read in all available logfiles and plot them. See the header of the script for more details on the output format and usage.
